As the patterns of health care delivery have evolved, Skott/Edwards Consultants has developed the expertise necessary to service this rapidly changing sector. As the health care delivery system and the insurance industry rapidly shifted
toward market-driven cost control initiatives and managed care arrangements,
and away from traditional indemnity reimbursement structures, our activities
evolved to include work with utilization review organizations and with case
management, price management, other specialized service management organizations.
